We are sad to announce the passing of long standing member of GRFC, Reg Rowlands at the age of 93, Reg played for the 1st XV in the late 1950s into the 1960s. He went on to hold a number of positions in the administration of the club. Although he moved away to Eastbourne he always managed get up to attend the major club lunches. Funeral details will be published when known.

Gravesend bowed out of the players-offs despite a superb second half fightback against very good opposition at the weekend. With the winner due to make the long trip down to Winchester in the next round it was Colfes who showed much more desire in the first half and despite an early score from Gravesend’s Josh Barnes the rest of the half belonged to Colfes.
