This weekend will be a tough test against known opponents Sutton & Epsom. Elsewhere the 2s are looking to record back to back wins after a fine result against New Ash Green as they play against near neighbours Old Gravesendians who themselves have looked pretty good this season. The 3XV head to Gillingham Anchorians so all teams get to say fairly local with the 4s make the ‘long trip’ the other way and cross the fence. For this weeks match day programme click here . Gravesend fell agonisingly short at the death to lose with the last play of the game against a well drilled Brighton side. Having built a 24-7 lead it was ultimately lack of both discipline and composure which allowed Brighton a route back into the game. Brighton started well creating overlaps through slick backs play but time and again failed to get away from the final man. Founded in 1881, Gravesend RFC is a proud, community-driven club with a rich history and a strong future. Based in the heart of Kent, we offer competitive rugby for all abilities, from seasoned players to those new to the game.

Our 1st XV compete in Regional 2 South East, delivering high-level, fast-paced rugby every week. Supporting them are our 2nd XV in Counties 3 Kent, and our 3rd XV and 4th XV, who play in the Kent Merit Leagues, offering both competitive and social rugby.
