We are sad to announce the passing of long standing member of GRFC, Reg Rowlands at the age of 93, Reg played for the 1st XV in the late 1950s into the 1960s. He went on to hold a number of positions in the administration of the club. Although he moved away to Eastbourne he always managed get up to attend the major club lunches. Funeral details will be published when known.

The family invite you to the funeral of Graham Leslie Haggar at St. Nicholas Church, Rodmersham ME9 0QD on Wednesday 9th September at 1pm. After the service there will be a family only private committal. Everyone is welcome to join Lesley and Graham's family in remembering and celebrating his life at Hempstead House Hotel, London Road, Bapchild ME9 9PP. In lieu of flowers, the family has kindly requested that any desired donations be made to The Wisdom Hospice in Rochester.

It is with a heavy heart that Gravesend RFC announces the passing of our past President, Chairman, and Life Member, Graham Haggar, following a short illness. Graham was quite simply a giant of our club family who will be sorely missed. His contribution to Gravesend RFC cannot be overstated, from guiding us through some of our proudest moments, including our historic Kent Cup triumphs and league successes, to working tirelessly behind the scenes to secure the long-term future
